Project goal
To refresh the menu of a Venezuelan food restaurant, aiming to create a sense of belonging and encourage the purchase of homemade dishes that transport diners to the tropical land of Venezuela.
Challenges
Integrating two logos due to a 50% association of two brands.
Designing the menu layout in two languages (English and Spanish).
Implemented Solutions
The menu was designed with a gatefold layout to equally integrate both logos (The Uncle Will and Mary Empanadas) on the cover.
Representative illustrations of Venezuela were incorporated to create a sense of belonging and to highlight the origin of the dishes in a cheerful and cultural way.
A colour palette was developed to complement both logos, unifying them with the national colours of Venezuela.
The menu was primarily designed in English due to the restaurant's location in the United Kingdom, with translations of certain dishes into Spanish for the Latin audience. Spanish translations were represented in italic letters to differentiate the languages.
